Every year, John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, does a homeless night. This is in the fall, and it is not on a school
night; rather, the day following Homeless night there is no school at all,
which is very fortunate. Homeless Night is very fun and entertaining, and it is
for a good cause. Money and empathy are both raised for homeless shelters as
you donate money and you sleep in a box in front of the school for the entire
night. I participated, and it was a lot of fun and for a good cause. Homeless
Night is a great way to entertain yourself!
